FFW has contracted Lancashire Wildlife Trust to make access improvements to Freeman's Wood.
Work is progressing well and we expect that the new path linking the two new entrances (one from the cycleway and another from the footpath near the crossroads) will be completed in early June. New signage and seating will be installed later in the summer. See pictures below for progress updates.
